Embedded Rumba+ Desktop Mainframe Display View

The embedded Rumba+ Desktop Mainframe Display view is a Rumba+ Desktop TN3270 emulator fully integrated within the IDE. This option is only available if you have installed and licensed Micro Focus Rumba+ Desktop 8.3 or later.

The Rumba+ Desktop Mainframe Display view is a TN3270 Mainframe Rumba+ Desktop emulator embedded in the IDE. To detach and leave the view floating, right-click the toolbar of the view, and click Detached. The IDE preserves the last state, size, and position of the window between debug sessions.

The Embedded Rumba+ Desktop Mainframe Display view includes:

A toolbar with the following buttons:
- New Rumba Mainframe Display - enables you to specify connection details and connect the display to an enterprise server.
- Show Terminal - enables you to view the active connections and choose to display one of them.
- Connect and Disconnect - use this to connect or disconnect the display to the server in the current connection.
- Disconnect and Close - disconnects the display from the server and closes the current connection.
- Disconnect and Close All - disconnects the server from the current connection and also closes all connections.
- Properties - opens the TN3270 Connection Properties dialog box with the properties of the current connection. If the display is temporary disconnected, it enables you to reconnect.
- Help - opens the Help for the embedded mainframe display.
Emulation screen - the main area of the view
Status bar - includes the following indicators:
- Terminal name - shows the name of the current connection.
- Status field - displays general Rumba+ Desktop software status information.
- Cursor coordinates - displays the row and column position of the cursor.
- Connection properties - displays the server and the port that the display is currently connected to.
